If your dental bridge is hurting, ill-fitted or needs replacing, Gentle Dental can provide emergency appointments to relieve your discomfort and correct your oral problem quickly and easily.
Missing Teeth Patients Seen Immediately
Dental bridges are designed to bridge gaps in your mouth and involve replacing a missing tooth with a false tooth bonded to the natural teeth on either side of the hole.
However, they are susceptible to breaks and can cause oral pain and contribute to developing conditions that can weaken your oral state.
Our dentists work alongside technicians during each step of the procedure so that the dental bridges function perfectly and look natural.
Here at Gentle Dental, our experienced dentists are always available to provide 24/7 emergency or same-day appointments.

24-hour emergency appointments
Although dental bridges are very sturdy, they may weaken, chip or crack.
While a broken bridge may not be as painful as a natural broken tooth, the break will allow bacteria to enter your dental bridge, leading to further oral hygiene problems.
So, the most important thing to do if your dental bridge breaks is to book an appointment with us as soon as possible.
This prevents further dental complications and ensures the mouth remains healthy and good oral.
Infections in your bridge
A tooth under a dental bridge can become decayed or infected.
A tooth infection is usually caused by difficulty in cleaning under the bridge or because the bridge is fitted incorrectly, which allows bacteria and acid to build up around the area.
An infected tooth usually occurs because of a serious gum infection.
If you think you may have an infection or decay under your bridge, it is best to book an X-ray appointment with us so that one of our dentists can assess the area to advise you.
As decaying teeth is a slow process, we recommend that you have an X-ray at least every 24 months to identify any problems at an early stage.

Same-day bridge repairs
We offer same-day dental bridge restorations to our patients. This guarantees that our patients are not in any pain for longer than they need to be.
As we have a special interest in restorative dentistry, the Gentle Dental use the latest and most advanced technology to repair broken bridges.
Ceramic CEREC restorations, from start to finish, only take a few hours.
CEREC dental bridges are created by using 3D scanning capabilities to cut a bridge from a single block of dental ceramic. Once the restoration has been created, one of our dentists will attach the bridge using dental composite cement.
If you have a broken dental bridge or require same-day treatment for any reason, book an appointment here or call us on 020 8224 7562. We are accepting new patients.
Resin-bonded dental bridge
Resin-bonded or resin-retained dental bridges are a less invasive alternative to CEREC restorations.
These restorations rely on dental cement for stability and are fitted to the surrounding teeth with metal or plastic attachments. Though they are less invasive, they are often considered temporary.
If this is the first time you need a bridge restoration, and you are not willing to have the surrounding teeth shaved down, then a resin-bonded dental bridge may be the best solution.
We always put our patients first, so if you want to discuss your requirements and options, book a consultation with one of our highly professional dentists here.
