Cosmetic Dentistry: Before and After Photos
Cosmetic dentistry can often feel like a daunting decision, but by pairing the latest technology with our expertise, we provide treatments, which are entirely safe and long-lasting.
That’s why we discuss your options thoroughly in consultation and offer you a trial smile, allowing you to preview your new smile before committing to the treatment itself!
We have also collected some of our many case studies to show you how much of a difference we can make to your smile.

1. Whiter and straighter smile
Leon, who was feeling very self-conscious about the discolouration and alignment of his teeth, approached The Gentle Dental clinic for cosmetic dental treatment.
One of his concerns was also a misfitted crown on the front of his upper jaw, which he was not only conscious about but was impacting his bite function too.
Principal dentist Dr Ali Rifai discussed Leon’s cosmetic options in an initial consultation before applying custom-made porcelain veneers, which blended perfectly with the other teeth for a completely natural look.

2. Implant-restored smile
Following trauma, Mark was left with a missing front tooth. He was also experiencing sensitivity and occasional pain due to the exposure of the gums.
He had been given a temporary partial denture from another dental practice, also known as a flipper, sold to Mark as a cheaper option for implants.
However the partial denture was causing irritation and discomfort and would often slip out when he ate. He came to Gentle Dental searching for a longer-lasting, more permanent solution to his missing tooth.
We proposed dental implants to Mark as the most cost-effective and durable solution to restore his smile and solve the bite problems he was having.
Mark’s smile was finished by evening out the colour of his teeth using veneers.

3. Straightened teeth with Invisalign
Amie wanted a straighter smile after her teeth grew slightly crookedly as a child.
Having recently started a career as a lawyer, she was feeling self-conscious about the appearance of her teeth, especially during meetings and court cases.
She was particularly self-conscious about her bottom set of teeth, where one particular tooth was angled back and looked like it was wedged between the teeth.
Dr Ali Rifai suggested an Invisalign treatment for Amie’s smile.
The treatment involved a set of aligners, which Amie wore in stages to help her teeth become more aligned.
4. Full smile restoration
Jenny was a patient with Gentle Dental who underwent a smile makeover.
Her treatments consisted of implant bridges, bonding, and veneers.
When a smile needs changing and improving significantly, the best way is to combine cosmetic treatments. Jenny had a consultation with us before any work was done, so discuss her options, prices, and payment plans.
Due to the multiple gaps in Jenny’s upper jaw, the most efficient way to restore her smile was by placing a bridge, which was in place and fixed in just two days.
Once the bridge had been placed, Dr Ali Rifai applied dental veneers to make the shade of the smile even and bright, as well as minor bonding between receded gum pockets, to give Jenny the youthful look she wanted.

5. Orthodontic treatment for a straight smile
This patient came to us wanting to straighten their teeth.
As Invisalign is best suited to minor orthodontic alignment, Dr Ali Rifai suggested that this patient should opt for metallic braces for a longer-lasting and stronger alignment process.
A year on, they are much straighter, and our patient feels much more confident with their smile.
They have said they are considering veneer treatment in the future!
6. Full smile makeover: crowns, implants, and veneers
Nickie’s teeth needed some restorative care.
She had missing teeth at the back of her mouth, and her front teeth were crooked and worn down. The concern was that her smile was making her look old and unhealthy.
We also found a severely decayed tooth at the back of her mouth, which Dr Ali Rifai extracted to prevent further damage or infection.
Any gaps in Nickie’s mouth were restored with dental implants to improve not only the look but also the strength, structure, and function of her smile.
Next, Nickie’s front teeth were crooked, with a few broken teeth to the side.
We discussed with her that we could fix these issues with crowns and veneers and she was very happy with the prospect of having a straight and white set of teeth!
